...T {Family}...

This was another beautiful session up north as the Aspens were changing colors and the snow was just starting to fall on the ground. This wonderful momma drove her three boys 3 hours for this shoot and then 3 hours again back home...wheeewww! I love the spirit of these children...very pure, honest....and straight up BOY!

I just wanna squeeze her and squeeze her and squeeze her! The little 10 month old face on E couldn't be any sweeter. And if you have never met a perfect, baby...welcome...this is the world of the luckiest mom in the universe. Baby E is perfect. Perfect.

...J {Family}...

Sometimes as a photographer you dream about the perfect location...while driving along a road in Flagstaff, one of my dreams became a reality. A rustic clothesline (fully equipped with clothes pins) perfectly situated in a windy field that was overlooked by a towering, snow topped mountain. After a quick knock on the property owner's door, we were in! And to top the day off, we got yellow aspens, an incredibly smiley one year old and if you look closely at one of the pictures below...we sat in a sunny field with a snow storm literally 100 yards behind us covering the mountain with snow...it was spectacular!

...L {3 Month}...

This adorable family is currently living in IL...I was honored when they asked me to shoot their son's 3 month session while they were in town. While I usually love my babies sleeping for the majority of their pictures, little L had a different plan...he rocked the expressions all day long and I loved it!

...T {Wedding}...

This wonderful bride and groom were married in a backyard ceremony...the sun was in true Arizona form and shining down bright (and strong) as these two lovies exchanged vows. The reception was followed-up by a reception at a local church. Thank you to N & J for allowing me to shoot their wedding as my FIRST solo wedding! It couldn't have turned out any better...

...L {Newborn}...

Meet this future rock-star...baby L is born into an environment that is filled with tons of love, laughter and tons of music. It was only appropriate that we incorporate his parents love for good tunes, and instruments into his newbie pictures.

...S {Maternity}...

I love bellies...big, round, baby momma & baby bellies. Mr. & Mrs. M joined me for a warm afternoon in downtown Phoenix for this lovely shoot...not only did we find some great new shooting locations, we also found some cool new spots to hang-out at when they are in town again! Thank you for smiling through your eyes (or at least trying) :)

...S {Family}...

This is the beautiful S Family...who recently welcomed Little L into their family. We are able to capture some great shots of L at their home and then family images in south Phoenix. The S Family was the winner of a free session raffled off at Hissyfits Resale (7th & Glendale...check them out...awesome kid's stuff!)...how lucky was I to end up with such am adorable family to shoot, right?!?!

It was amazing how we had so much in common...same neighborhood, shopping, friends, church, interests....and we never met before this date! I hope to see more of this family as they continue to grow. It was a true pleasure to meet you all!

...B {One Year Old}...

Having never met little B before, I was excited and nervous...not all one year olds (well, maybe no one year olds)  are easy to shoot as all they want to do is run the opposite direction of the camera. When I pulled up to this shoot, little B was sitting in her dad's lap in the car trying to keep cool from the 110 degree weather...she saw me and was instantly smiling from ear to ear...showing off those dimples and blue eyes. I was instantly excited to shoot this adorable little girl!

Little B definitely had her own agenda during this shoot, which didn't necessarily include posing for pictures as mom and dad hoped...which ended up being a good thing as we were able to capture this moment of her life "in action" and full of one year old personality. These pictures perfectly capture the essence of this little B's sweet demeanor! Thank you M Family!

...A {Maternity}...

This beautiful day started at A & R's house, quickly landed us in downtown Phoenix and shortly thereafter (well, actually 45 miles, 4 water bottles and a full tank of gas later), threw us into the wonderful town of Buckeye...and that is where the magic of this shoot was born! We found ourselves stomping through hazardous wastelands (no joke, I think something illegal is going on down in those dry riverbeds of Buckeye), dodging bee swarms in old crack houses, peaking through windows of abandoned homes ensuring we were the only visitors that day and conveniently stumbling upon fields with wildflowers. Oh, and did I mention the sunset that day (thank you AZ!).

A & R- Thank you for joining me on my photography adventures...and for those of you who will come after them- be ready, I am only starting my ventures into these new found lands :)
